2026 Scheduled Events

This year’s Spring Herb Day is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026. In addition to our quality herbs, vendors selling both handmade and garden related items will also be featured. Don't forget to visit our indoor yard sale. 

 Hop on over to Kent Plantation House for a morning of family fun! Enjoy a delicious pancake and sausage breakfast, meet the Easter Bunny, snap a memorable photo, and spend the day making crafts, playing games, and enjoying activities for all ages.

Visit Kent Plantation House for Bug Day & Reptile Day, Saturday, 5/16/26, 9 am - 1 PM! Shop with our vendors, enjoy our bug-themed crafts, and see the bugs and reptiles themselves! It's a great day to spend with your family!

 The young ladies will complete numerous art projects, attend and host authentic tea parties, learn social etiquette, journal, play games and the pastimes of Jane Austen's era. They will learn to set and serve a proper table and tour the Kent House.

Experience the breathtaking bayous and wooded forests of Central Louisiana from a different perspective! 

All rides are lead & followed by assistance vehicles and there are plenty of SAG stops along all routes. Live entertainment, food, fun & southern hospitality!

 The annual Tales Along the Bayou, presented by the Rapides Parish Library, will be held on Oct. 9, 2026, from 6:00-8:30PM on the Kent Plantation House lawn.  Come in costume, bring a chair/blanket, and bite to eat and enjoy some Halloween stories! Additional food will be available for purchase!  

Come and enjoy crafts, music, refreshments, and visit with Papa Noel while helping decorate the Kent House Christmas Tree at the Kent House's annual Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration!
